Objectives and Functions


Objective
Manage the financial resources of the University, supervise control procedures, funding, custody and their proper application.

Functions
1. Attend the financial issues of the University.
2. Systematize and control the accounting registers of the University.
3. Manage and control all kind of incomes coming from the institution functions as well as services provided by the University.
4. Watch and control the proper management and application of the financial resources of the University.
5.  Watch and supervise the fixed assets of the university.
6.  Make the financial states of the university.
7.  Present the financial states to the Rector on schedule.
8.  Present the financial states to the Rector for decision making.
9. Agree with the Rector about the management and distribution of the financial resources.
10. Present to the Rector financial proposals for short, mid and long term.
11. Collaborate with the Institutional Planning Unit with regards to the financial planning of the University.
12.Inform to the University Founding Board and the Internal Auditor about the management and application of the resources of the University.
13.  Comply with tax requirements that affect the University.
14. Meet tax requirements and watch that regulation provisions established by the competent authorities of the university.
15. Hand in a written report to the Rector about the activities  that were carried out according to the staff position in order to integrate the information in the Annual report of the Institutional Unit Plan.
16. The management of the general Controller and Finance Secretary must be full time.
17. Meet all the functions appointed by the Rector.
18. Carry out all the activities which are necessary to accomplish according to the functions of the staff and other edicts conferred by the university by the university.
